Operatech (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides Duplicate Photo & Video Cleaner, an Android utility for finding, reviewing, and removing duplicate or similar photos and videos. This policy explains what information the app handles and the choices available to you.

The app requests photo and video access only when you ask it to scan, compare, preview, or delete media. Media files, fingerprints, thumbnails, selections, and scan results are processed locally on your device.
You can grant, limit, or revoke media permissions at any time in Android Settings. Android may show the permission choices available for your device and version.
The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner and interstitial advertisements. The SDK may process technical information such as IP address, advertising or device identifiers, app interactions, diagnostics, and information needed for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. This processing is governed by Google’s policies.
For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) is used to present the applicable consent choices. You can review or change available privacy choices from the app’s privacy options entry point when shown.
App preferences, cached thumbnails, fingerprints, and scan summaries may be kept locally to make the app work. You can clear app data in Android Settings or uninstall the app to remove app-local data. Deleted media is handled by Android’s media provider and any system trash/recycle behavior on your device.
Google may retain advertising-related information according to its own policies and settings.
Duplicate Cleaner is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Local media comparisons remain on the device. Network communications used by the advertising SDK are protected using the security mechanisms provided by Google and Android. No security method can guarantee absolute security.
